As a mama of 2 boys, a great love for children, a passion for children's clothes, creative spirit ... I have always lived with a dream to work in a children's shop or even bigger to have one. I did and do nothing more than to search in magazines or on the net or just look at new brands, colors, combinations, shops .... My top moments are the clothes of my sons, hanged or shopping with a girlfriend to help her choose.
Previously I worked with heart and soul in special education where I worked in a super team with toddlers. But due to various circumstances, my childhood dream came to the surface and through the support of my environment and the 'now or never feeling' I took the initiative to start Odille & Octaaf. If I had a daughter she would have called Odille and Octaaf is to demonstrate that I also pay a lot of attention to the boys' clothing.
After my search for a building where my choice on the city of Lokeren fell for the conviviality and my former work environment so I knew Lokeren already. The next step was to make a choice in the brands, make contacts, go to the Paris stock exchange and buy my collections in the different showrooms, which is the same as putting a child in a big candy store! Thanks to the help of family, I was able to convert my mood board (interior design shop) into reality.
Because I realize that I also need a webshop outside a brick store, this is also in a very constructive phase. I hope to put a good picture on the website / webshop and you can easily make the choice in what you want for your child.
